The Duchess of England was caught in the nude and international publications are thirsty to print it…again.

One day after the Royal Family took legal action against a French tabloid for publishing topless photos of Kate Middleton while sunbathing in a five-page spread under the headline “Oh My God!”, ABC News reports.

The Irish Daily Star, a tabloid newspaper, printed the images Tuesday (Sept. 18) while an Italian tab is planning to run the images next week in a special edition issue.

“There can be no motivation for this action other than greed,” a St. James Palace spokesperson told the BBC. Meanwhile, the owners of the Irish Daily Star said they “very much regret the distress it has caused,” the Associated Press reported.

“Their Royal Highnesses have been hugely saddened to learn that a French publication and a photographer have invaded their privacy in such a grotesque and totally unjustifiable manner. The incident is reminiscent of the worst excesses of the press and paparazzi during the life of Diana, Princess of Wales, and all the more upsetting to The Duke and Duchess for being so,” the St. James Palace said in an earlier statement Friday (Sept. 14) when the French mag reportedly published the images.

The pictures were alegedly taken while Middleton and Prince William vacationed in the south of France before embarking on a world tour to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee. They have begun “legal proceedings for breach of privacy” against the magazine’s publishers.
